The Washington Commanders started this season with a bang. They delivered back-to-back consecutive victories against the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos. However, their spark started to diminish in the later games, as they lost four out of their last five games. This puts the team in a dicey situation because if this continues they would stand in a losing position. Even in their Week 7 matchup, they lost against the New York Giants.

After the Commanders lost an unexpected game, the whole stadium had their heads down in agony. Even, Johnson stated that the team should’ve scored more, as the NFL cannot be won by just scoring seven points. He wrote, “Disappointing 14-7 loss for my Commanders to the NY Giants. It’s hard to win in the NFL when you only score 7 points.

Some fans appreciated him speaking on it. Some fans urged him to do something about the bad state of the team and even blamed the current head coach Ron Rivera. Not only Johnson, but even the defensive lineman Jonathan Allen spoke out his frustration after the game.

The Washington Commanders has never been to the Super Bowl after the 1991 season. The Redskins have been struggling to establish their presence in their league since then. Even the defensive lineman, who was drafted as a first pick in 2017, has voiced out his frustration with his team and how they haven’t been able to perform in the last seven years.

About the loss, he said, “They whooped our a**. Plain and simple.” Then he admitted that the loss on them had nothing to do with their opponent. When asked about his frustration regarding the loss, he lashed out, “I’m f***ing tired of this st. I’m f***ing tired of this bulls**t. It’s been 7 f***ing years of the same st. I’m tired of this s*t.
