Trade regarding a certain player from the Atlanta Falcons has taken fans by surprise. Yes, this is about none other than Kyle Pitts, who many people thought was supposed to be transferred to Dallas. We know that the richest franchise in history was always looking for the next man to bolster their squad, be it offense or defense.

Jerry Jones’ acumen as a businessman is on a completely different level. Considering the $9 billion tag that the Cowboys wear, it’s not a far-fetched idea to think that the man can hire anyone at any point. But the Atlanta management recently made clear what’s what and Dez Bryant comes along to add more fuel to the fire.

The former NFL player recently tweeted something on Twitter that got the fans talking. He, for some reason, suspects that Kyle Pitts will be moving to the Dallas Cowboys and did not provide any substance behind the tweet. The tweet said, “Did I see something saying” which means that he himself does not have a clue about anything. This whole thing is a classic case of the ‘telephone’ game.

This whole scenario looked like a rumor from the start because it would be unwise for the Atlanta Falcons to let such a talented player leave. The NFL correspondent Jane Slater put a rest to these rumors when she spoke with the Falcons’ management. She had heard that the Dallas Cowboys were looking for a TE, so they contacted the Falcons for the opportunity.

“Cowboys are always looking to bolster their offense, so when I heard a show say Dallas should call Atlanta to see if Kyle Pitts is available, I checked into it. A source with the Falcons’ answer when I asked ‘LOL. No way.’”, tweeted Slater, debunking the rumors.

Well, his stats and his athletic abilities make him a wanted man, so much so that the most expensive franchise in the NFL is after him, even leaving behind the likes of Kansas City Chiefs.

Kyle Pitts and Travis Kelce debate

The Falcons TE was drafted back in 2020 and since then, has had a lot of people rooting for him. He had a phenomenal rookie season with more than a thousand receiving yards under his belt. Although his performance has declined in the last few years, some fans would still not hesitate to call him the next Travis Kelce.

It would be unfair to compare Pitts with Kelce because he is new to the league, whereas Kelce is a certified veteran with a Super Bowl Championship. However, in this season, both TEs have close stats, except that Kelce has 2 touchdowns to Pitts’ 0.
