Despite a couple of surprise interceptions, QB Jalen Hurts led the Eagles to a remarkable victory. However, these two quarterbacks, each with their unique paths, crossed swords on the NFL stage, leaving fans with a memorable night to cherish.

One fan summed it up with a simple, “Brothers till the end.” For some, it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane, as they reminisced about their college days: “That college love.”

Hurts, three years younger than Mayfield, both 6’1″, clashed in Week 3. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers trailed the Eagles 25-11, but Mayfield rallied. Hurts led the Eagles to a triumphant victory at Raymond James Stadium. Last year’s runner-up, Hurts’ team, the Eagles, haven’t lost a game in three tries. This makes a lot of people think they might be really good and could win the Super Bowl in their part of the league, called the NFC.

Hurts showed promise with 23 completions for 277 yards, a touchdown, but two interceptions. Not just a passer, he ran for 28 yards and scored a touchdown. Former Heisman Trophy winner Mayfield threw 15 completions for 146 yards, scoring one touchdown and one interception. Looking ahead, the Eagles are set to face off against the Commanders, while the Buccaneers will take on the Saints in the coming week. The quarterback showdown continues as these teams vie for victory.
