The Detroit Lions just defeated the downtrodden GB Packers in a recent game. There were a lot of issues that the Packers were dealing with in their roster. The Lions took advantage of it and went ahead to grab the win. Apparently, some fellow celebrities were watching this game very closely as they rooted for their teams. One of those celebs is the 15-time Grammy Award-winning rapper Eminem.

We know well that the rapper hails from Detroit and has been representing his city ever since he started his music endeavors. Maybe therefore he is such a hardcore Detroit Lions supporter. He recently tweeted a very short message to show his support for the home team, which is coveted by everyone in the league.

Eminem’s message for the Lions

Em recently tweeted a three-word message in support of his favorite team. The tweet simply said ‘Let’s f****** go!!!! Detroit@Lions’. The real Slim Shady was excited about this win, to say the least. The same day, he made 3 tweets, that made the fans think about what was going on since the rapper doesn’t engage with the public a lot.

The tweet sent the fans into a frenzy and the comments were as if people really wanted a new album from a rapper. One fan said, ‘this the most Eminem personal tweets we’ve ever got in a day’, while another fan mentioned, ‘3 tweets in the same day? Where’s the album em🤔’. While another fan exclaims, ‘Detroit is your hometown. We love you Marshall. ❤️‍🔥’. Another one writes, ‘Hang this tweet in the museum. 😂😂’, and another said, ‘You tweeting up a storm today! Wow’.

Judging by all these comments, it’s safe to say that the rapper doesn’t interact with people a lot on his social media. But the last game against the Packers might have really fired him up, and he let the world know. But what really happened that got Em bouncing on his feet?

What really happened?

The game was held in the Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The Packers really tasted the grass on their home turf as the Lions emerged victorious by a considerable lead. The game started with the Packers leading with 3 points, but the Lions quickly took over when Amon-Ra St. Brown caught the ball and dived to the end zone. Soon after, David Montgomery went for another touchdown, leaving the Packers trailing behind. That’s not it, he went for another rush and scored yet another touchdown.

The Packers were seen struggling along with Jordan Love, who has been facing some issues with the team’s roster as a whole due to multiple injuries and no-shows. Love, was really confident in Aaron Jones, but that didn’t really play out well for the team. This was followed by Jordan Love rushing to the end zone for a touchdown, but it was later countered by David Montgomery again, leading to a game-winning touchdown.
