A former NFL player, Robert Griffin II, who now talks about NFL games on TV, said that the Dallas Cowboys should try to get TE Kyle Pitts from the Atlanta Falcons. TE Kyle Pitts is a player who can catch the ball very well, but the Falcons are not using him much. They mostly make him block other players or pretend to catch the ball so that other players can get it.

Atlanta Falcons squash trade rumors

The Atlanta Falcons have emphatically denied the rumors of trading their star tight end, Kyle Pitts. Many fans have expressed frustration with the team’s underutilization of Pitts, despite his young age of only 22. According to a recent report by Dov Kleiman, the Falcons are standing firm on their decision not to trade Kyle Pitts, who was the fourth overall pick in the NFL Draft. When asked about the possibility of a trade, a team source responded with a humorous “LOL, no way.” The source also mentioned that the Dallas Cowboys expressed interest in improving their offense and inquiring about Kyle Pitts, but Atlanta declined the proposal.

An NFL insider, Kleiman, said that Pitts has caught the ball only 9 times in 3 games this year. That is very low compared to last year when he caught the ball 28 times. He has also scored only three times in his three years in the NFL. That means he is not playing as well as he can.

Additionally, Pitts suffered a significant injury last season and recently got hurt again during a game against the Chicago Bears in Week 10, leading to his placement on injured reserve.

How did these rumors take off?

Some people say that the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wanted Kyle Pitts in the 2021 NFL Draft, but no teams have said anything about it. BVM Sports says that the Cowboys have trouble scoring near the end zone and that’s why they might want to get a good player like Pitts. Many people online are talking about this and wondering if it will happen.

The Falcons have a new quarterback, Desmond Ridder, who they picked in 2022. He is doing well and has helped the team win two games out of three. Kyle Pitts, the player who can catch tough balls, is also doing well and is one of the best in the NFL. But some people still think that Kyle Pitts might go to the Dallas Cowboys in a trade. No one knows for sure if that will happen, and many NFL fans are wondering about it.

Anthony Pettis’ quote “Attitude determines efforts” upholds a sports-centric ideology that attracted me to this vibrant world of team spirit, enthusiasm, and emotions. More specifically, it was the UFC domain that encouraged my strive as an avid follower. Soon I found myself resonating with another divergent sport- the American football. Ironically, just like UFC, its in-game energy brought out the calmness within me. This aspect, eventually, led me to step into the arena of writing, and I cultivated a love for NFL through words, stories, and experiences. Precisely, I have come to enjoy watching QB of the Bengals, Joe Burrow, take on the field and exhibit his magic. It is his serenity and accuracy during the match that inspires me to narrate the insider scoop on the player's thoughts and feelings. This allows my articles to contrive on three pillars—facts, analysis, and opinions. Throughout my journey, hence, I have covered varied aspects of the matches, from the core sport highlights to the off-court banter. I believe this connection to the NFL game on so many levels has become my reason for generating over 700 articles, hoarding the interest of thousands of readers, and achieving Publishing Rights at EssentiallySports. Away from the NFL enthusiasm, I spend my time glued to the screen watching other sports and gaining beneficial knowledge.
