“My Favorite WR Looks Lost”- Eagles’ WR DeVonta Smith Makes a Steely Vow as Fans Mourn Jets’ Supremacy
The New York Jets have finally put an end to the curse that has been active since 1973. Jets had faced 12 consecutive losses against the Philadelphia Eagles for the past half a century, but they’ve finally gotten over it. The New York Jets have finally reclaimed their position in the league with a balanced record of 3-3. Although the Jets lost their star quarterback Aaron Rodgers because of an Achilles injury, in the fourth play of the season, they rebounded strongly by defeating the undefeated team.
The team seemed to have made their vendetta to target the elite QB of the opponent’s team, as they intercepted Jalen Hurts thrice. After two minutes of warning, Safety Tony Adams intercepted Hurts and committed to his career’s first touchdown. In the game, not only Hurts was targeted, but the star wide receiver DeVonta Smith was also dissatisfied with his performance.

The wide receiver DeVonta Smith can be considered one of the best young prospects in the league right now. However, he couldn’t work the magic against the New York Jets, as he dropped some of the crucial passes in the game. At one point in the game, Hurts made a sharp pass to Smith, but he dropped it, which got Hurts sacked for an 8-yard loss.
So, there were some moments where Smith’s abilities seemed to lack what was required by his team. After the game, even though he was disappointed in himself, but didn’t lose hope. Instead, he asserted that he’d work on his weaknesses and would come back stronger. He said, “I gotta catch the f***ing ball.”
