The Green Bay Packers seem ready to take on their next opponent, Las Vegas Raiders. This season, the Packers are in a decent position with 2-2 and their opponent doesn’t seem to be in as good a position as the Packers. The Raiders have only been able to win once this season.

The Packers did take a major blow when Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury. Now, the team has taken another blow as their star offensive tackle David Bakhtiari is also injured. Recently, on the ‘Pat McAfee Show,’ this situation was discussed and also how the team is going to cope with it.

After suffering the injury, the left tackle told the reporters that he would have to undergo another arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. Bakhtiari’s doctors are sure that the knee has a cartilage issue. Pat McAfee took to his X account to share a clip of his interview with Ty Schmit. McAfee started by asking Ty about the thing that they hadn’t covered on the show, which was David Bakhtiari.

The Green Bay Packers fan Ty said that the head coach of the Packers has finally shed some light on Bakhtiari’s situation. He said that Matt LaFleur opened up and agreed with fans saying that he is worried about Bakhtiari too now. He quoted what the HC said, “Listen, I’m very worried about this, I don’t know what the hell is going on. This is 3 years of this stuff happening and we have no answers.”

Moreover, he also added that Bakhtiari was good against the Bears, and now all of a sudden the player will be out for the season. He said, “Instead of brushing it under the rug and just acting like fans like, this is outlandish, you shouldn’t be doing this, he’s saying the same thing like the fans.” McAfee captioned the post saying that he has hopes for Bakhtiari playing football again. Bakhtiari also shared his feelings about his injury.

Bakhtiari is ready to face the problem

Bakhtiari said in one of his interviews that he hates this situation he’s in, any human would hate it. However, he addressed that a few days before, they didn’t know the actual problem but now they do. So the player is headed on to beat his injury and play football again.

He said, “That’s the, I guess, glass-half-full part of the scenario. So, that’s where we’re at. That’s the pill I have to swallow.” Seeing the player in good spirits, the fans are a bit more relieved now.
