Darrell Handerson is getting promoted to play

The head coach, Sean McVay, had to decide regarding the escalating injury crisis. McVay, along with others, has promoted Darrell Henderson Jr. from the practice squad for the upcoming Sunday game against the Steelers. Henderson previously used to serve as the team’s RB2. He also has evidently left a powerful impression on HC McVay during his second stint with the squad.

McVay stated, “Darrell came back in, he’s a guy that’s going to be up and active this week.” He also emphasized Henderson’s readiness and quick re-acclimation to the team’s strategies and work ethic. He added, “He’s done a great job of being able to quickly re-acclimate himself back to a lot of the things that we’ve done, he’s taking good care of himself in the meantime.”

The Rams defensive back Derion Kendrick, who has been away because of personal issues, will return to practice on Friday. He might be seen playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. McVay expressed his support for Kendrick and highlighted the importance of using this time as a learning opportunity.

McVay emphasized his trust in Kendrick’s character and belief in forgiveness and understanding. He said, “I trust this kid’s heart, I believe in him, I also believe in forgiveness and understanding.”
