The Philadelphia Eagles are doing a phenomenal job in the NFL regular season. The team is currently 5-0, which may soon be 6-0 as the team goes against the New York Jets on Monday. Well, there is more to what meets the eye when it comes to the Eagles. The team has been struggling at the back, and there are some issues with the offense as well. Recently, Jason Kelce went on a tirade mid-game against the LA Rams.

Though the Eagles won the game, the qualms that Jason Kelce has are regarding something completely different. Jalen Hurts is one facet of the Eagles’ offense when it comes to the push. But so is Jake Elliott, who was the key to the Eagles winning 5-0. That is one of the main reasons why Jason Kelce is bothered.

Jason Kelce is airing it out

The Kelce brothers appear again in the new episode of their podcast, New Heights. The snipped starts off with Travis Kelce jumping straight into the sideline drama. Jason Kelce starts off by praising the Eagles’ offense and how the team is gelling with each other and coming to grips with their identity. His outburst stems from the fact that the Eagles struggle to get into the red zone and score touchdowns. Per Kelce, this has been happening for a while.

Interestingly, Jason Kelce brings forth the fact that the Eagles are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to scoring touchdowns. They (the Eagles) rely heavily on field goals, and this is where Jake Elliott comes into play. “Jake Elliott outscored the Giants”, a statistic that was etched in Kelce’s head, comes out as he was visibly upset talking about it. “It ain’t good like we’re supposed to be getting in the end zone dawg”.

Another facet of the Eagles’ offense’s failure, as Kelce pointed out, was communication issues. Unfortunately for him, these added failures cause him to air out his frustrations. “It all builds up,” added Kelce. Also, part of it comes from his love for the team; he cares enough to not let these things slip by, even though the Eagles are doing just fine.

Jason Kelce accepts that airing out his frustrations doesn’t actually do anything but add to them. He mentions that he is not productive throughout the whole ordeal and needs to be more ‘adult’ about how he is handling the disappointments. Perhaps this self-awareness will show up at the right time in the next game against the Jets. Maybe Hurts and Co. can make it to the end zone this time around.

“I’m just letting out frustrations, and things that are killing us,” said Kelce in response to his outburst.

The question is, if it weren’t for Jake Elliott, how far would the Eagles have come in the regular season? Will the Eagles get to the red zone in the next game at MetLife Stadium? Will we see an angry Jason Kelce or the Fat Batman in the next game? Comment on what you think.
