The Eagles put on the new Kelly-Green uniform and put on one heck of a show against the Dolphins. They are back on track making the Jets’ loss look like a fluke on their part. After all the rumors about issues with offense and defense, the Eagles still bounced back and are still flying high with a record of 6-1. The Eagles remain the kings of the NFC East. The Jalen Hurts-AJ Brown assist was beautiful.

Nick Sirianni came out in the post-game press conference to discuss the game and had some interesting things to say about their WR1. Brown set the stage with his 32 career rushing touchdown, not to forget his stellar gameplay. Safe to say Sirianni is levitating after this game and is thankful for the team he coaches.

Sirianni dives into the press conference and was asked if he has ever witnessed a receiver like AJ Brown. Why? Because he received a 14-year touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts. Sirianni starts praising the WR1 for his phenomenal skills with the football. He mentioned that nobody compares to Brown when it comes to catching the ball. According to Sirianni, Brown’s skills are one in a million and shine the brightest in the NFL. He attests this performance to DeVonta Smith’s and Dallas Goedert’s assistance in the game as well.

Sirianni saw AJ Brown practicing and was immediately blown away, so much so that he personally thanked Jeffrey Lurie for trusting him with $100 million. “Thanks for the $100 million to pay AJ Brown, I really appreciate that” describes Sirianni in the press conference. And why not? After Brown has proved himself time and time again with a consistent performance, just like the whole team.

It’s baffling to think how the team got from being worried about getting to the end zone to scoring multiple touchdowns in a single game. That too against the Miami Dolphins.

The Eagles’ struggle paid off

In the past, there was some contention or the other about the Eagles’ ability to utilize its offense precisely. Jason Kelce mentioned in his podcast, New Heights how the team struggled to make it past the enemy lines. The Eagles had to rely on Jake Elliott to kick the ball and win the game. But not anymore. The team scored 5 touchdowns in a single game and, of course, the special team came to help as well.

Back to AJ Brown, along with scoring a receiving touchdown, he had 10 receptions out of 15 targets over 137 yards. In the 6 games he has played so far, he has 809 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns with 52 receptions. Along with him, Dallas Goedert and Kenneth Gainwell had a touchdown each. Safe to say that the Eagles are back on track and their offense seems to have improved a lot.
