The New Orleans Saints faced a devastating loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7. The Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence definitely understands how to make an entrance, as he guided his team to the 30-24 win. On Thursday, the Saints committed some mistakes which made them lose the match that could have been won. In the last stretch of the fourth quarter, the tight end Foster Moreau could’ve tied up the score with no defenders around near the end zone, but the ball fell out of his hands.

Then in the next play, the QB Derek Carr tried to pass it down to Chris Olave. But the throw couldn’t be completed. Amidst the game, there was also a time when Carr couldn’t hold his frustration after Olave was unable to follow the route in one of the plays. However, the Saints Wide Receiver was imposed with a bigger punishment, and it wasn’t because of his false plays.

The Kenner Police Department recently came forward with a report. They revealed that the 23-year-old wide receiver Chris Olave has been arrested on the charges of reckless driving. At the time of the arrest, Olave did not resist the police and gave in with his complete cooperation. The Kenner Police even released a statement of the entire situation to the public.

The statement read, “New Orleans Saints player Chris Olave was arrested tonight for Reckless Operation, city ordinance, driving 70mph in 35mph zone. The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Joe Yenni Boulevard.” He’s considered the rising star of the NFL, but this time he made the headlines for the wrong reason. According to ESPN’s Katherine Terrell, the Saints denied commenting on this.

Currently, Olave has a total of 39 interceptions in 471 yards and one touchdown. He even impressed some fans with a one-handed 42-yard stunner. But he has faced some backlash for not finishing his routes in some cases. One also took place in the previous game, which even had Derek Carr riled up.

Derek Carr lashed out at Olave mid-game

In the fourth quarter, with only 10 minutes and 44 seconds remaining on the clock, the Saints quarterback Derek Carr made a pass to the WR Olave on 3rd-and-11 at the Jaguars’ 25. The fault of the Ohio State product was clear that he was unable to make the route. For that reason, he could not get under the pass on time. This ignited the rage in the QB.

After his inability to finish the route, Carr was seen shouting at him. He showed his frustration in the limelight for all the fans to see. Later, he stated that his anger wasn’t particularly directed towards Olave. He explained, “I wasn’t talking to Chris, like the past two weeks I was just talking in general. There were some things that happened today that led to some pretty big negative plays that should never happen and I think that’s where my frustration came from.”
