However, the Cardinals did not play so well in the first two games of their season. Not only did they lose to the Washington Commanders , but they also suffered a ruthless defeat against the New York Giants. The Cardinals gave up 31 points in the last half of the game, cause a strong heartbreak for the team. So, this win against the Cowboys was a big change for the Cardinals.

The Cowboys had the ball more than the Cardinals even, but they still scored 12 points less.
