Aaron Rodgers looks to be settling well in New York. The veteran QB moved bases from Green Bay to the New York Jets in a blockbuster trade after months of speculation and delay. And now, he is living life as a New Yorker already, just days after the move. Dressed in a plain black hoodie, Rodgers has moved on from the darkest chapters of his life and got Madison Square Garden on their feet.

Fans have seen varying emotions from the legendary QB in the last few months, from his ‘darkness retreat’ to severing ties with a team he represented for 18 years. Now that he has found a new home, fans are witnessing a new A-Rod, always smiling. And it became the first thing that the fans noticed when Rodgers made it to a Rangers game with his new teammates.

Leaving behind the darkness

Aaron Rodgers shocked the world with his method of deciding his future. He went into a darkness retreat to contemplate if he still wanted to play in the NFL. Coming out of it, he declared his intentions of playing for the Jets. After that, the fans spent the next few weeks in limbo as the Packers and the Jets chalked out a deal.

Finally, the Packers let him go in exchange for a second-round pick this year and a conditional first-round pick the next. The teams also swapped their first-round picks in this year’s draft. But in the end, the Jets got their man with a promise of glory for a success-starved franchise.
