Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss Says Tom Brady ‘Isn’t Ready to Give up his Crown Yet’

Tom Brady is one of the greatest to ever play this game. For much of his career, Brady has dominated the NFL. He was able to win 6 Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots. And now, he has a shot to win his 7th ring in his first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

NFL legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss spoke about Tom Brady’s reign at the top of the NFL mountain. He believes that Tom Brady is still not ready to give up his crown yet.

Obviously, he was referencing the upcoming clash between Brady and the young up-and-comer in Patrick Mahomes, who is tipped to be the successor to Brady.

Brady and Mahomes have only clashed one other time. It was in 2018 when Tom Brady was still with the New England Patriots. It ended up being the only loss of Patrick Mahomes’ playoff career. Brady defeated Mahomes and the Chiefs to go to the Super Bowl. However, he ended up losing to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Tom Brady- Still the king of the hill

Brady has enjoyed an exemplary career in the NFL so far. Over his long tenure, he’s amassed 6 Super Bowl titles in 9 appearances on the big stage.

Perhaps what is most impressive is Brady’s late-career performance. He has had a Hall of Fame worthy career since turning 35.

That is astounding, especially given the fact that most players tend to decline as their age progresses. However, Brady’s game has aged like fine wine. He seems to get better with every passing season of his career.

This year, Brady showed that a player of his caliber can play well into his 40s, and he led the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl at the age of 43.

Can Tom Brady win his 7th Super Bowl title this year? He has a tough challenge, facing Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs.

However, Brady is one of the best big-game performers of all-time, and no game is bigger than the Super Bowl.
