He said, “Here’s what great teams do. They win games, regardless of the point differential, and I don’t get too caught up in the point differential.

“Now, this week, this bill’s defense is actually going to be a bit of a handful for the Chiefs and the Chiefs don’t know who they’re playing at quarterback, this is going to be a really, really interesting game.”

“But to me, the Chiefs, what they need to do is this, they just need to simply play up to the level of their talent because they are without, in my opinion, the most talented offensive team in the entire National Football League.

“What they need is a consistent 60 minute game of playing up to the level of their talent…If they don’t, you’re right, that Buffalo offense could become a real problem for them,” Pioli said on the show.

The Chiefs will need to be at their best, with or without Mahomes on the roster. The 2018 NFL MVP is still expected to start on Sunday, but there is no official confirmation of the same. Chiefs’ fans will have their fingers crossed at the moment.
