Patrick Mahomes has been one of the best players in the NFL for the past few years. The 2018 NFL MVP had an excellent season, as he led the Kansas City Chiefs to a near-perfect 14-1 record, the best in the league.

And this Sunday, the Chiefs, with Mahomes in the pocket, look to go one step further back to the Super Bowl by defeating the Cleveland Browns.

However, the Browns will not make it easy. This is the first Browns playoff run since 2002. And they shockingly upset the Pittsburgh Steelers to continue their run so far.

Cleveland Browns’ Myles Garrett gave an interview prior to the game. He spoke on a number of subjects before the game. On facing Patrick Mahomes in the Playoffs, Garrett wants to leave an impression on Mahomes.

He wants Mahomes to remember facing him but noted that the matchup isn’t focused on the two of them. He said, “I want him to be able to go home when he has his kid or kids and tell them that he went against Myles Garrett.

“It is not just me versus him – it is the Browns versus the Chiefs – but individually, I like to leave an impression on everybody I go against.”

Patrick Mahomes- Unstoppable in the Playoffs?

Garrett noted that he needs to step up in a big game, and the game against the Chiefs offers him the best opportunity to do that. For Garrett, the Chiefs are the best team in the league.

“Absolutely. This should be the game to do it. One of the best teams in the league, if not the best team in the league, but they have to go in there and they have to prove it, and we have to prove that we can battle with anybody.”
