Sean McVay-led Los Angeles Rams pulled off a major upset last weekend as they defeated NFC West Champions, Seattle Seahawks, in the Wild Card Playoffs. The Rams put in a major defensive performance to silence Russell Wilson and his two star wide receivers, Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. But this week they’ll go up against arguably the best quarterback in the league at the moment, Aaron Rodgers.
The Green Bay Packers veteran is having a terrific season. He leads the league in passing touchdowns (48) and other categories as well. Besides that, the snowy conditions at Lambeau Field are something that Rodgers has come to thrive in, as per recent results.
So what does the Rams defense – who is sweating on the fitness of Aaron Donald – need to do in order to stop the Packers’ offense? Kyle Brandt tells us below.

On the latest segment of GMFB, co-host Kyle Brandt gave his pre-game predictions with respect to the Packers vs Rams Divisional Playoff. Kyle gave his two cents on the Rams defense and what it needs to do to thwart MVP contender, Aaron Rodgers.
He said, “Rodgers does this every week. He’s asked about the other team’s best players on defense and he hypes them and says how great they are and it’s what he does. First ballot Hall of Famer no doubt, a generational guy. I’ve never seen him hype like that. I mean, it’s unbelievable…I think that that first-ballot Hall of Famer and Jalen Ramsey are going to have to play the best games of their careers to win this game.”

“We’ve talked a lot about the weather this week. It’s going to be sub-freezing in Green Bay. We know that….I think only if 99 (Aaron Donald) and Jalen Ramsey are the best players in the building that day. I think the defense has to kill them. Otherwise, Rodgers is too good,” Brandt said on the show.
