As fate would have it, Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs find themselves back in a Super Bowl. But this time, they’re not fighting to win the trophy, they are fighting to defend it. Patrick Mahomes and Co. pulled off a stellar win against Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship a couple of weeks ago.

Now, they face their final nemesis this season in the form of Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Chiefs will travel down south to Florida for Super Bowl LV.

This will be the first occasion wherein an NFL team will host the Super Bowl on home soil. Once again, Mr. Brady has a chance to go down in history as the ‘first’ to achieve another milestone.

The Chiefs have only tasted defeat twice this season. They have a few injuries on their defensive team. LT Eric Fisher and rookie LB Willie Gay Jr. have already been ruled out from Super Bowl LV. The latter had surgery to repair a torn meniscus.
