At one point this season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were on a 7-5 record and had no hopes of making the NFL Playoffs. The morale was low in the team’s locker room, but there was one man who was still determined to ‘finish what he started’ when he signed the two-year deal that brought him to Florida. When Tom Brady wants something, he gets it.

The veteran quarterback rallied behind his teammates and managed to turn things around. Under the tutelage of Bruce Arians, the Buccaneers finished second in the NFC South with an 11-5 record. They qualified for the Wild Card Round where they took on, and subsequently defeated Ron Rivera-coached Washington Football Team.

They went on to defeat divisional rivals, New Orleans Saints, in the Divisional Round before facing off against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. And despite throwing 3 interceptions, Brady did enough to ensure he would win his maiden NFC Championship in his debut season for the Pirates.

The Buccaneers continued on their post-season adventure with another impressive display against the Packers on Sunday. Despite some offensive blunders, the Pirates defense along with RB Leonard Fournette and WRs Mike Evans and Scott Miller did enough to outscore Aaron Rodgers and Co. at Lambeau Field in the NFC Championship Game.

In doing so, Brady became only the second quarterback (behind Craig Morton) to win the AFC and NFC Championship games with two separate NFL teams. A win in the Super Bowl LV against reigning champions, Kansas City Chiefs, will catapult Brady’s stock to a whole new level.

No one has ever achieved a feat like this before in the league. He will certainly be in a league of his own. No Rodgers, no Drew Brees, no Peyton Manning, no Joe Montana. 43-year-old Tom Brady is the GOAT. The 6x Super Bowl winner will have it all to play for at the Raymond James Stadium.
