Tom Brady to many is the greatest player to have played in the NFL. With 6 Super Bowl rings and countless other records to his name, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has been an inspiration both on and off the pitch.

Now headed for a record 10th Super Bowl, Brady is looking to make it 7 wins on the grandest stage of them all. Switching from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a decision many balked at.

But Tom Brady being the legend that he is has proven everyone wrong yet again.

Tom Brady has lifted the Buccaneers franchise

NFL analyst Peter Schrager, during a segment of GMFB, talked about the immeasurable influence that Brady has had on this Buccaneers side over the course of this season.

“Arians’ quote after that NFC Championship was so moving. He said, ‘The fact that we’re here. All it took was the belief. The belief in that one man and that’s Tom Brady’,” said Schrager quoting the Buccaneers head coach.

Talking about Brady’s influence both on and off the pitch, Schrager lauded the veteran quarterback for lifting the entire franchise from playoff hopefuls to Super Bowl contenders.

“I think his effect is way more felt off the field than just between those yard lines for the 60 minutes they take to the field on Sunday. I think he has lifted every single player. He has lifted the organization.

“Remember, this was an organization which has not been to a playoff game since 2007. And more or less has been a joke, and an irrelevant team. I say that with all due respect to Buccaneers teams in the past,” he said.

Turning a franchise such as the Buccaneers around in just 1 season would’ve sounded like an impossible task. But Brady has shown that the word ‘impossible’ does not exist in his dictionary.

“This is a squad that played in 3 primetime games in the last decade. They played in 7 this season. Tom Brady makes them relevant. Brady makes them great. His impact is felt in that building,” Schrager added.
