Matt LaFleur-coached Green Bay Packers welcomed home fans to Sunday’s NFC Championship game at Lambeau Field. The NFC North champions sealed a 32-18 win over LA Rams in the Divisional Round to book a spot against Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers in this NFC finale.

The visitors were the first to get on the scoreboard, but it was not long before Aaron Rodgers produced some magic in tandem with the help of his trusted wideout, Marquez-Valdes Scantling.

Tom Brady and Mike Evans linked up in the Bucs’ opening drive to hand the visiting team a 7-0 point lead at the start of the first quarter. The Tampa Bay defense did an equally good job in the opening quarter to shut out Rodgers as they caused all sorts of problems for the Packers’ offensive line.

But Rodgers and Co. fought back in the opening phase of the second quarter, and they leveled the scores with immediate effect. At 3rd and 3, the 37-year-old quarterback threw a dime to MVS who was being tracked by the Bucs defensive star Carlton Davis down the field.

Scantling held on and made his way into the Red Zone to get the Packers on the scoreboard and level the scores. On 33 receptions, MVS has 690 receiving yards to his name with 6 receiving touchdowns. Along with WRs Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, MVS has been another effective attacking weapon used by Rodgers over the course of the ongoing season.
