The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the first touchdown of Super Bowl LV. Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski revived their connection once again in the Super Bowl to put the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead 7-3 at the end of the first quarter. The duo entered their fourth Super Bowl together. But are quickly showing that some things never change, including them taking over Super Bowls.
Twitter exploded after the duo combined for yet another touchdown in the Super Bowl. Brady and Gronk combined once again for a touchdown, their 13th in the playoffs. This impressive stat puts them ahead of Joe Montana and Jerry Rice for most touchdown combinations in NFL playoff history. And what a stage they chose to create history.

Tom Brady and Gronk link up again
Tom Brady and Gronk’s connection for the first touchdown put the Tampa Bay Buccaneers up against the Chiefs 7-3. It could put the Buccaneers in a supreme position. The Buccaneers currently have a pretty solid defense in the NFL, and will be motivated to defend their own end zone going forward. But keeping the best offense in the league in the form of the Chiefs will be tough.

Right now, the Kansas City Chiefs will have to rally in order to come back into the game. The Chiefs, as of this writing are still looking for their first touchdown in the game. They will want to capitalize on their opportunities and not fall behind to the Buccaneers. Now the cards are in the hands of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes to get the team going.

The defending champions are now on the backfoot and they must rally in order to overcome the home team. The Buccaneers defense is one of the grittiest in the league. And with the stakes this high and a marginal lead to defend, you can assume that they will throw the house at the Chiefs in order to not let them take the lead.
