Jon Jones joins Connor and the elites

Jones joined an elite list of MMA fighters to have won titles in two different weight categories, having won the light heavyweight championship before and claiming the heavyweight title last night. Jon beat French fighter and former interim heavyweight champion Cyril Gane and it didn’t take too long.

Jones had Cyril tap out in the first round only 2 minutes into the fight, establishing his supremacy as the widely considered G.O.A.T of the sport, despite all the controversies he has been involved in. Jon definitely admitted his GOAT status after the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.

Kyler Murray has no doubt about Bones Jones. “Levels to this sh*t! Jonny Bones,” he tweeted after the fight and also put a goat emoji at the end. OBJ wrote “Sheeeesh. Like that??” in awe.
