“He Got His Pic off Google I’m Dying”: Fans Troll UFC Legend Jon Jones for Birthday Message to His Brother Chandler Jones

Becoming a professional athlete, regardless of which sport one is in, is a huge achievement. The sacrifices, work ethic, and dedication it takes to mentally and physically push boundaries are often taken for granted. But finally, being able to live the dream is a true accomplishment. However, there’s one thing that makes this accomplishment better. The joy of seeing one’s sibling find success in the sporting world is like none other.

The UFC and NFL worlds collided when brothers Jon and Chandler Jones took their places in their respective careers. The former UFC light heavyweight champion and Las Vegas Raiders DE have each made their marks in sporting history. Most recently, the older Jones took to Instagram to wish his younger brother on his birthday. And some observant fans had a good laugh. Here’s what went down.

Jon Jones penned a heartfelt note, but fans are overly observant

Jon ‘Bones’ Jones is a force of nature in the mixed martial arts arena. It seems like athletic genetics run in the family. Continuing to uplift the Jones name in the NFL world, Chandler Jones is a maverick in the league. Taking to Instagram to commemorate his younger brother’s birthday, the older Jones penned a heartfelt message.

He said, “My little brother is one of the all-time best on the field, but the reason why I admire him so much is for the man that he is off the field. I love you so much @chanjones incredibly proud to be your big brother. Happy birthday young king.” While many took to the comments to wish Chandler Jones, one user made an observation regarding Bones’ picture of choice.

The fan said, “he got this pic off google i’m dying,” to which another sardonically responded, “Call 911.”

Some fans just found out the duo were related, “Raise your hand if you just found out chandler jones was bones little bro 🙋🏼‍♂️,” “Had no clue that’s 🔥”

Other fans exclaimed, “Jones fam built different 😮‍💨😤,” “Amazing family 🙌 happy bday.”

This user referred to another Jones brother, Arthur, who was in the NFL as well, “I mean y’all’s family is just straight up, immaculate athletes. One of if not the greatest mma fighter of all time, along with two brothers that were both in the nfl and one has a Super Bowl ring. Crazy”

Speaking of brothers, the Jones family isn’t the only one dominating the sports world. Most recently, football fans were treated to a sibling showdown at the highest level. Here’s a look at the Super Bowl game that became a familial faceoff.

The Jones aren’t the only family dominating the sports world
