It is said that game recognizes game. But, it is also true that GOAT recognizes GOAT. Many legends of varying sports have complimented other athletes over time. Tom Brady is no different from this. Having won the Super Bowl 7 times in his career, he has established his name as one of the best in the game. But years ago, the former Bucs and Patriots QB honored a fellow American athlete by calling her the GOAT. That athlete was none other than legendary gymnast Simone Biles.

Simone Biles is an icon in Gymnastics for her generation. She has represented the USA at the Olympics on two separate occasions, at Rio in 2016, and then at Tokyo in 2020. In her Olympic appearances, she won 7 Olympic medals. She earned a Presidential Medal of Freedom from POTUS Joe Biden last year. With her medals and honors, she has cemented her name in American and Olympic history. But none of her honors will feel as sweet as being called the GOAT by one of America’s top athletes.

Simone Biles asks Brady about which apparatus he could perform, “If you could pick one apparatus to do, what would it be?” Brady responds, “It’s an impossible sport,” as he concedes to Biles. They go on to talk about their comfort food as both Brady and Biles share what they like to splurge on. “My number one splurge food? Cheeseburgers” responds Brady in concert with Biles’ question. Biles has come a long way since that interview with many developments in her life, both off field and on field.

Simone Biles and Hubby spend their break together

It’s rare to see athletes marrying athletes, with very few athlete duos tying the knot. Simone Biles is one exception to that as she tied the knot with Green Bay Packers Strong Safety, Jonathan Owens earlier this year. After being engaged to each other for over a year, the duo married each other on 15th April 2023.

With Packers Safety Owens away in the off-season this early in their marriage, Biles wanted to shower her husband with affection on his return. With a short trip recently, Biles and Owens head out in their Challenger as they look to make the most of their break. The Olympian and her husband will seek out ways to spend their time with each other going forward.
