

Hot-headed Nick Kyrgios gets involved in a heated exchange with an assumed Novak Djokovic fan on Instagram. The Australian taunted the fan on social media as he wrote that he understands his ‘frustration’, being a Djokovic fan.
Kyrgios posted a picture of himself after reaching the semifinals of the ongoing ATP Cup 2020 on Thursday. In the picture, the 24-year-old was walking down the tennis court with the caption: “Proud to be walking my journey”

Kyrgios then lost his cool and wrote: “What on earth are you talking about? I didn’t say I was special? I understand everyone is on their own journey, and I support them. Not really sure on who I heckle.”

“But I’m guessing you are a fan of Djokovic so I understand your frustration champ. We actually had a nice chat today. Hope you can find some positive vibes soon because you are making yourself silly,” Kyrgios concluded.
The alleged Djokovic’s fans comments were not received well with the other audience on Instagram as most of them praised and supported Kyrgios.

Kyrgios at ATP Cup 2020
Nick Kyrgios defeated Cameron Norrie of Great Britain in the singles to give Australia the lead. He then led his team to secure a place in the semifinals of the ATP Cup 2020 after defeating Jamie Murray and Joe Salisbury in the deciding doubles match, pairing with Alex de Minaur.

However, the hosts were knocked out of the inaugural ATP Cup 2020 after suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Rafael Nadal led Spain in the semifinals on Saturday. Nick Kyrgios was thrashed by Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut in the first singles rubber. On the other hand, World No.1 Nadal stepped up to defeat Alex de Minaur after losing the first set to clinch the tie.
