Alexander Zverev is treated as if he were an elementary school child – Dominic Thiem
In an Interview with TT, Thiem mentions that he didn’t like the way people criticized Zverev. The World No.3 was asked about how he felt about it and this is what he said-
“He should have done it like me. He was also tested negatively, only his mistake was that he first wrote the statement and then had the bad luck of being filmed at the party. Sure, he made a mistake – but I don’t understand why everyone is getting involved.” Thiem said

Thiem also hit back at Nick Kyrgios. Kyrgios called Zverev ‘selfish’ for partying and risking other people’s life. The Australian went on a huge rant on twitter about Zverev. Thiem defended Zverev against Kyrgios’ comments, the Austrian deemed all his talk as nonsense and wanted Kyrgios to mind his own business.
“Kyrgios has built a lot of nonsense himself. I understand even less when he interferes with everything. It would be better if he came to terms with himself rather than always criticizing others.” said the World No.3
It all comes down to responsibility. Players need to be responsible as they have people behind them who are influenced by their actions. Causing unnecessary problems at this point is just reckless.
