TikTok was recently in the news for many reasons. The Chinese app was banned across many regions for its lack of security. Many had privacy concerns and well, Ninja falls under the same.

Only days back, India banned TikTok and 59 other Chinese apps because of concern. The ban was a huge setback for the Chinese makers because of the country’s huge number of users.

TikTok is not the only app under such scrutiny. A host of other related and unrelated Chinese mobile apps are also under high notice.

The social media app reportedly collected many users’ data. Ninja and his wife Jessica Blevins enjoyed a strong presence on the platform. Ninja stepping down from the app could only mean his wife does the same. Although fans might miss watching both of them on the app, it is just for the betterment.

Someone like Ninja deleting the app would surely prompt more from the professional Esports scene and community to do the same. However, he is still in support of a similar application.

He also stated that if any makers other than China could recreate the app legally, he would be using it. It is clear that he loves the platform but due to the growing security concerns, the player, like many others, is forced to delete the app.
