E3 2021 is finally here and fans can’t wait to hear some exciting news about the future of gaming. This includes Japanese developers, Nintendo, who will showcase their products on the last day of the event.

Fans should expect to hear a lot of news regarding Nintendo’s plans for the upcoming year. This includes their rumored Switch Pro console and new video game titles. But, it seems like the company is in a hurry to showcase one of their collaborative products as they accidentally leaked information about it on their own website.

Nintendo reveals new Mario + Rabbids title on their website

After much speculation, Nintendo finally confirmed the rumors about the existence of a new Mario + Rabbids game. It’s titled Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and fans found out about it after the Japanese company showcased it on their website. Other than the title, it also included other details like the release year, which is 2022. Along with that, there are even screenshots of the game which included many of its characters.

Mario + Rabbids is one of the most popular developer collaborative IPs in the gaming world. The original game was titled Kingdom Battles, and it released for the Nintendo Switch in 2017. In it, fans got to play an entertaining strategy-based title involving Nintendo’s marquee characters from the Mario world along with the Rabbids, from the celebrated Ubisoft franchise. In Sparks of Hope, the Nintendo Switch title will also feature many of these iconic characters such as Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Luigi, and many more.

When can fans expect an official announcement?

It’s very likely that the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be officially announced during E3 2021. There are two major events that might involve the revelation of another insane experience with these characters. It will either be disclosed during the Ubisoft press conference on Day 1 of E3 2021 at 3 PM ET. Other than that, fans might also hear about it during the Nintendo press conference on the last day of the event at 12 PM ET.

Fans can’t wait to see the sequel to the successful 2017 title including these manic creatures. With a roster involving some of the biggest names from two of the most popular series, it seems like fans will have a blast playing with them.
