Donkey Kong 64, ring a bell? It won’t for a lot of people born in the 21st century. For those who spent most of their vacations and playtime on a Nintendo 64 or N64, it might be very nostalgic. This bunch of people knows exactly what is in store for them and how exciting this is.

The game that came out in 1999, exactly 21 years ago, was the favorite pastime of many kids and even adults back then. Seeing their favorite gorilla in 3D was a dream come true. Moreover, setting out on an adventure as the Donkey Kong only made the game better.

The latest cheat in Nintendo 64 Donkey Kong

Collecting golden bananas in Donkey Kong 64 was the worst. You wanted to unlock a new level as soon as possible. However, every time you got excited, you realized you don’t have enough golden bananas to do so. If only Nintendo fans had discovered a cheat that would help players do this faster.

Some players recently found a special developer code that brings players to a level with fewer Golden Bananas when combined with a specific input. All one has to do is get close to B.Locker in a lobby and then press up, then down, then left, then right on the D-pad.

Will the Switch get a Donkey Kong game?

No leaks or reports suggest that Nintendo Switch will get a new Donkey Kong title. There have been certain cameo appearances of our favorite Nintendo gorilla in the past few years. Super Smash Bros. had Donkey Kong join the battle with another appearance back in 2014 when Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze released on the Wii U.

However, it has been a while since Kong got a complete game for himself. The closest shot a giant gorilla got to fame recently was when Godzilla vs. Kong was announced. While Nintendo fans might not see Donkey Kong anytime soon, they can watch a different gorilla fight a radioactive monster on their Switch once the movie comes out in March 2021.
