The whole situation went downhill when Ivashka took a toilet break in the second set. It was during the changeover time at 3-2, when Ivashka was attended by a doctor and asked to leave the court due to an emergency. But the chair umpire didn’t call it a medical timeout and asked Ivashka to come back as soon as possible. With Ivashka taking a lot of time to return to the court, the chair umpire and the supervisor had a long discussion.

“You need to be as fast as possible, you do it on your own time,” the chair umpire said.
