Canadian tennis player Leylah Fernandez has been grabbing the headlines. She recently knocked off the two-time champion Naomi Osaka out of the US Open. At the age of 18 years, the youngster surely has a bright future ahead of her. In June this year, she achieved a career-high ranking of 66 in the world.

Not long ago, Leylah Fernandez was praised by Serena Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou. He felt that a player doesn’t necessarily need to be strong or tall in order to achieve success in the spectacular sport. However, he felt one must need to take the ball early in order to dictate the point.
