Serbian World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and his balcony chronicles in quarantine at the Australian Open 2021 bubble continue. A group of Serbian fans entertained him with a local country dance. Smiling, the 33-year-old clapped for them and appreciated their effort.

Before this, the 17-time Grand Slam champion was dancing empathically with Adelaide fans. And once, he even cheered and gave tennis tips to two Adelaide boys playing near his balcony. Even though he is in quarantine, Djokovic has made many memorable moments for the fans.

With the local music playing in the background, people took on the roads to exult in their performance. The Serbian ace heard the melody and came outside on the balcony. Although he did not dance this time, Djokovic’s head alone danced a little.

The fans first chanted for the defending Australian Open champion to call him out. Once he appeared, the local dance was ready to roll. Reuters shared the video on their Twitter handle.

Fans will catch Novak live in action at a star-studded exhibition match in Adelaide on 29th January. Spain’s Rafael Nadal and Austria’s Dominic Thiem will accompany him from the men’s side.

Moreover, Nadal and Thiem are also in quarantine at the same hotel as the 6-time year-end World No. 1. But neither have the shutterbugs caught them, nor they have attempted to be seen. Watch all that is happened outside Djokovic’s balcony.

Djokovic to defend two titles in Australia

To begin with, Novak will represent Serbia at the ATP Cup 2021. Last year, he defeated Nadal in the finals and had claimed the title. This year, he is looking ahead at a tough draw with Alexander Zverev and Denis Shapovalov in his group.

The Australian Open 2021 is scheduled right after the teams-nations tournament. The 33-year-old defended the title last year and will want to complete his second hat-trick in Australia in 2021. Notably, Djokovic is the record 8-time winner of the ‘Happy Slam’.

Taking his fans’ enormous support, the Serbian ace will definitely be in high spirits. And given his thirst for records, Novak will love to get close in the Big Three’s most Slams race.
