Novak Djokovic Gets Challenged By Zlatan Ibrahimovic

TheWorld Number one tennis playerNovak Djokovic  has been challenged by the striker of MLS club LA Galaxy, Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the “matrix move.”

The Swedish footballer, Ibrahimovic posted a video on Twitter and challenged Paul Pogba, Novak Djokovic, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Mino Raiola to reproduce the “matrix move.”

Novak Djokovic admires the prolific goalscorer, Ibrahimovic. Also, they happen to be good friends. “I know him already from the time when he was playing in AC Milan,” Djokovic spoke about his relationship with Ibrahimovic last year. “I met him many times there. For me, he’s one of the best players, if not the best player, in the world at this moment.”

“He is playing incredible. He has amazing skills and quality as an attacker. Also, he’s my friend, so I was very glad to see him come with his kids, with his wife. We got to play a little bit of tennis also, which was fun for me. I hope it was for him, also.”

The former PSG striker, Ibrahimovic also shared about his relationship with Djokovic. “We’re good friends, we’re still in contact,” Ibrahimovic said in 2018.  “We follow each other, we see each other’s success. I’m super happy for him because he came back from injury to be number one, where he belongs.”

Presently, Novak Djokovic is swinging his tennis racquets in Japan. His first match is scheduled against the Australian, Alexei Popirin. He lost his doubles match in the first round of Rakuten Japan Open 2019.

On Tuesday, it will be his first match on the singles circuit since his retirement at US Open 2019 due to his injured shoulder. Playing on the Japanese court will provide him practice for Tokyo Olympics 2020. Except for Novak Djokovic, everyone from the ‘Big Four’ of tennis has pulled off the Japan Open title.
