As the novel coronavirus continues to sweep the globe, people are advised to stay indoors. However,  the human race struggling to cope with quarantine. However, World No.1 Novak Djokovic has provided some tips for the public on how to dedicate their time while staying at home.

With many countries in the state of lockdown, Djokovic stressed that it is important to stay at home. This will subsequently help in lessening the ‘burden’ on medical services around the world. However, how to dedicate time while staying inside the four walls? Djokovic explains.

“It’s all about perspective”: Novak Djokovic

Djokovic asked everyone to devote some time for inner work while staying at home. The 32-year-old called for there to be a sense of unity and spend time with family at home, enjoying the little things in life.

Djokovic also explained that it is time for people to “help our Mother Earth” during the coronavirus pandemic as “we can’t be healthy if our world isn’t healthy”.

“It’s all about perspective. We live in a fast-paced modern life. Constantly on the go. We rarely get to stop and contemplate our lives. We become addicted to this idea that we always need to be somewhere else and do something productive,” wrote Djokovic on social media.

The Serbian revealed that he is all about being productive and proactive. However, this should be in harmony with peace and innerstanding of our true essence. He explicated that we can’t be healthy if our world isn’t healthy.

“Let’s try to laugh, love and dedicate time to inner work. Pray, meditate, eat healthy, play music, sing, dance, read, write, workout, sleep well, train our brains to think good thoughts. This is a great opportunity to do that,” he added.

The 17-time Grand Slam winner suggested that being at home will hopefully help to slow the spread of this virus. This will also provide everyone with a chance to truly address certain emotions and subconscious programs that have been suppressed and ignored.

“We need to dig deep now and regenerate on every level of our beings. Only like that, we will be able to raise our own vibration and help our Mother Earth heal quicker,” Djokovic noted.

At the moment, the coronavirus is tearing through a world of naive people. The pandemic can only be subsided by treating others and nature like everyone treats oneself as Djokovic suggested. The world should stand united and follow all the necessary protocols to fight against the COVID-19 crisis.
