World No. 1 Novak Djokovic had a scintillating start to his campaign at the French Open 2020. Djokovic annihilated Mikael Ymer in straight sets, handling Ymer a bagel in the opening set. The Serbian dropped only five games during his first-round match and is now eyeing an 18th Grand Slam title at Roland Garros.
During the third set, Djokovic seemed to be bothered by a spectator who had donned a Roger Federer cap. The No.1 seed shot an angry glare at the person after missing a point and shrugged off the incident by sending him a flying kiss. During the post-match interview, Djokovic talked about that moment and revealed that the spectator in the stands was his childhood friend.
“I sent him a kiss, was happy to see him there,” remarked Djokovic after the match.
