Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in the world, has been included in the most marketable list of athletes in 2021. The American is widely considered one of the greatest gymnast of all time.

Simone has won a total of 32 Olympic and World Championship medals to date. Moreover, she has won 7 of them at the Olympics which includes 4 golds, 2 bronze medals and 1 silver. Adding more glory to her gliterring career, Biles’ Olympic medal tally now ties with Shannon Miller.

Recently, the list of this year?s 50 most marketable (50MM) Athletes was presented by digital social media flow leader specialist Greenfly and powered by Zoomph?s digital engagement measurement expertise. The athletes are assessed on the basis of data generated on social media. Further, this data is analysed on an Athlete Influencer Score which entails five key metrics: post frequency, reach, engagement, fan demographic and fan attractiveness.

The obtained score is based not just based on an athlete?s social media reach. Demographic structure and the interactions they have with their audience was also considered. Interestingly, more than 7,000 athletes active on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok were observed, in order to form the list.

Biles makes it to the top

The 24-year-old gymnastic topped SportsPro?s list of most marketable athletes of all time. She overtook the 23-year-old Tennis player, Naomi Osaka hailing from Japan. Cristiano Ronaldo, the football star, ranked 6th in the list. Furthermore, the 9th name was Novak Djokovic, the ATP world no. 1 from Serbia.

Having remarkable career achievements, all of names behind Biles have made immense amounts of contributions to their respective sports. Simone is leading an elite list of sports professionals.
