In an interview with The Score, Reyes shared his plans for the rematch with Jon Jones. He said,

“One thing I would like to improve [is that] I would like to knock him out. I mean, I touched him. Going into the fight was like, ‘Am I gonna be able to touch this guy? He’s so long. Am I gonna be able to get to him?’ And I was. And I can. Pretty easily. So, now, I’m gonna knock him out.”
