Olivia Dunne is everywhere right now, from candidly revealing her struggle to balance fame and normalcy to starring in a sizzling new Fanatics Sportsbook ad. The gymnast-turned-influencer isn’t just big; she’s next-level iconic, owning social media like a queen. But trust us, the glow-up wasn’t easy. “The more you do right, the more people try to knock you down.” Livvy learned that the hard way, clawing through waves of hate to claim her throne. And just when you think nothing can shake her? Her latest montage proves otherwise, because this time, it wasn’t a hater trying to take her down, but a four-legged, tail-wagging troublemaker.

The former LSU gymnastics star turned internet sensation first stole hearts in 2021 when she began sharing her jaw-dropping routines on social media. After the NCAA’s NIL policy shift that same year, Dunne wasted no time turning fame into fortune, skyrocketing to become the highest-valued women’s college athlete with an estimated NIL worth sitting around $4.2 million, as per On3.

Fast-forward to 2025, and she’s not just an athlete; she’s a social media powerhouse, ranking among the most-followed NCAA stars of all time. While she might be out of competitions for now, leaving training? Heck no! In her latest TikTok montage, we see her attempting a headstand when, out of nowhere, her dog, Roux, comes rushing in and bumps into her arms.

She nearly lost her balance, but the moment quickly turned adorable as she couldn’t stop laughing. The video was paired with the country lyrics, “I can tell you right now that a dog has a soul.” The interaction was innocent and heartwarming, as Roux showered her with affection. And if the previous social media updates are anything to go by, then it is safe to say that Dunne seems to be the biggest fan of her “Queen.”

She welcomed Roux into her family in October 2023 when she bought the pup alongside her boyfriend, Paul Skenes. The couple named the pup after the Louisiana cooking staple ‘roux,’ which is a mixture of flour and fat. And since then began the very adorable saga of Dunne sharing glimpses of Roux on her social media.

During her interview with Country Living Magazine, she revealed that she’s been a dog lover since she was a child, saying, “I’ve always been a dog person. We had a family dog growing up. Her name was Biscuit, and she was a golden retriever. I was homeschooled growing up, so she was my best friend.”

She further explained that the idea behind getting the furry friend was to have someone in their life who would love them unconditionally. For Dunne, moments like these are a welcome respite, especially considering the challenges she faced while growing her social media presence.

Speaking to the media, the former gymnast revealed that early on, she was attacked by individuals who claimed she had no personality and relied solely on her beauty. But she never gave up; she built a brand out of herself. “I think that my audience could feel that authenticity because it was something I was doing before the rule change. This was years in the making. It didn’t come to me easily, and I think that’s a big misconception. I want my legacy to be that you’re more than just your sport.”

When we talk about influence, her name immediately comes to mind at the top of the list of gymnasts. But beyond her social media endeavors, she faces another challenge. What could that be? Let’s find out.

Olivia Dunne’s confession about attending every game for her boyfriend

The 22-year-old is dating rising MLB pitcher Paul Skenes, and since he stays active throughout the year, it has become challenging for her to balance her private and public life. Doing stadium hopping across the country to watch her boyfriend pitch while managing her own business has become difficult for her, but she is not backing down. Speaking to the media, she revealed, “I’m trying to go to as many baseball games as I can. I really just enjoy watching him, and he’s always on the go.”

She further added, “Taylor has her boyfriend that’s a professional athlete, and my boyfriend is a professional athlete as well. And she has her own success and I have my own success, so I try to look at her perspective on things and how she handles criticism, how she navigates. In her words, I think that she takes the heat a lot worse than I do, because, I mean, the bigger you are, the more people you have trying to tear you down.”

With multiple business deals under her banner, as well as managing her own fund to support female athletes, Dunne is striving to be both the best girlfriend and a successful businesswoman. However, she is finding it challenging to manage everything properly, though it’s only a matter of time before she masters it.
