Nelly Korda came into the women’s golf competition as the towering favorite. Of course, defending gold medalist InBee Park was also in the field, but Korda displayed better form leading up to the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

And just like that, with four spectacular rounds, Nelly Korda fulfilled each and every expectation fans placed on her. Korda shot 67, 62, 69, and 69, through four rounds to clinch gold at Kasumigaseki Country Club.

“This is total G.O.A.T. status for me,” Jessica Korda reacted to her sister’s victory. “To win three times in a season and to be world No. 1 and now she’s going for gold.”

Pure selfless emotions from Jessica Korda right there. She was a part of the field in the women’s golf competition too, but could only finish T15 after 72-holes. However, her younger sister went out and got the job done.
