If a Team USA golfer wins gold in the women’s event, it will then be a clean sweep for the Americans. The hopes rest on the shoulders of Danielle Kang, Lexi Thompson, Jessica Korda, and Nelly Korda.
These four professional golfers will battle it out at the Kasumigaseki Country Club, but the women’s event is also facing a risk due to inclement weather. The tournament is expected to be shortened to 54-holes instead of 72.
