“Shine bright like a diamond.” Is Jordan Chiles the diamond Rihanna sang in 2012? You never know. But right now, the gymnast is shining just like a diamond! How? Check out her college gymnastics performances this season. Her UCLA gymnastics program has maintained a spotless record in the Big Ten Conference. On the other hand, the program has gained second place on the list, establishing itself as a superpower this year. Jordan has undoubtedly made significant contributions to that. Just like a diamond! However, talking about similarities, there’s something more.

It is about following one’s idol. Jordan Chiles can do that by performing as Rihanna’s lyrics claim. She can also do that by taking a special interest in the singer’s brand. Well, Jordan has done both! The world of glamour knows about her liking for the product lines released by Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. Once again, her fondness has come to her fans.

On February 25, Jordan shared a snap on her Instagram story. She captioned the story with a little yet huge word, “LOVE!” and tagged Fentybeauty’s Instagram handle. And what did the snap feature? It had a box showing four products under Rihanna’s brand. The list included You Mist Makeup-Extending Setting Spray, Foundation Brush, Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation, and Invisimate Instant Setting+Blotting Powder. Is something extra this time on her list of favorites?

Well, as per Jordan’s conversation with The Strategist in February this year, she always keeps Fenty lip gloss with her. “This is easy to throw in my bag, which is essential since I travel a lot,” she revealed in that conversation. But this time, as you can see, the 23-year-old had four new Fenty Beauty products on her use list. However, this is not anything new. Jordan has repeatedly spoken about her skincare and makeup routine, and each time, Rihanna’s brand has entered the list. Consider her words in the conversation with Vogue last year.

In that video released in July last year, Chiles made her honest confession about using cleanser to her face. “I started using a gentle cleanser ’cause my face is really oily and then I was like, oh my gosh, it makes my face look so much better,” she said. For her, that gentle cleanser is Fenty Skin’s Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser with Barbados Cherry. The perfect mix with the cleanser while probably enjoying Rihanna’s songs in the background—for Jordan, this must be something perfect. Now, she has four more products introduced by the same brand. Will she shine brighter than a diamond?

The fans might confidently point at Chiles’ performance this year. They might claim it as a gem! But what has she done so far in college gymnastics this year so far?

Jordan Chiles is making her road by rocking and flipping

“I’m that girl.” In the Paris Olympics last year, the gymnastics world saw Jordan Chiles already establishing herself in that coveted place. She didn’t have anything more to prove. Yet she came back to the UCLA Bruins to set things on fire. This season of college gymnastics, Chiles has two perfect tens claimed on the mat. The first one came on January 18th in the uneven bars against Maryland. And the second one came on February 1 in the meet against Michigan State on the floor. Moreover, she scored her second perfect ten this season while fighting with her weakness because of her high fever. Is it something extraordinary? Check out the defending national gymnastics champion, LSU Tigers Gymnastics.

The entire squad has yet to drop a perfect ten score on the mat this season. That’s where Jordan’s aura lies! Not only that, on February 23, Jordan faced a horrific fall in her first routine, on the uneven bars against the Michigan. Her fall on the mat penalized her score a bit, and she ended the event with 9.150. But the fall failed to suppress her motivation. In the next three events, Jordan’s score remained at 9.950 (vault), 9.975 (floor exercise), and 9.850 (balance beam). Those numbers ended the evening perfectly for her and the Bruins. Well, we call her a diamond. You can make your choice.
