It’s official: Baby Biles stole the show in Paris — and no, we’re not just talking about Simone’s gravity-defying flips and gold-worthy routines. While Simone Biles had the world on its feet at the 2024 Olympics, one tiny fan had the entire stadium wrapped around her little finger: her niece, Ronni, affectionately known as Baby Biles. Decked out in custom mini versions of Simone’s GK Elite leotards, Ronni wasn’t just attending one or two events — she was front and center for every single gymnastics competition, cheering on her “TT” with the same wide-eyed wonder she’s shown ever since she could first say the letter T

According to her mom, Sammi Biles, the toddler lights up every time she spots Simone on TV, in commercials, or even on billboards. “She just yells out, ‘T! T!’” Sammi shared — and yes, it’s just as adorable as it sounds. But Ronni’s Olympic enthusiasm wasn’t a fluke — it’s part of a growing list of elite-level moments for the youngest Biles. From rocking her aunt’s black leotard from the 2023 Xfinity Gymnastics Championships to bouncing across the mats at the Biles family gym in Spring, Texas, Ronni is already showing signs of following in Simone’s golden footsteps. No pressure, kiddo — but the leotard does seem to fit.

The most recent update? On May 27, Sammi, gave fans a glimpse into her daughter Ronni’s blossoming gymnastics journey with a carousel of tender moments and a caption that pulled no punches about the realities of motherhood. The photos showed little Ronni fully immersed in gym life—whether cuddling in the lap of a woman wearing an “Athletic Trainer” t-shirt (possibly Sammi herself), lighting up next to a young teammate in matching bright bows, or sitting calmly on the mat between her parents on the mat. Ronni’s pink leotard, infectious smile, and tiny presence in a world built for champions like Simone painted a picture that was both adorable and quietly powerful.

Sammi’s caption about motherhood was raw and real: “amazingly beautiful & can be really hard all wrapped together in a messy bow 🎀.” She opened up about navigating postpartum recovery after a second C-section, managing a blood clotting disorder, and doing it all without paid maternity leave. Yet despite the chaos, love saturated every word: “ain’t no hood like motherhood 🤎.”

But, what could’ve been another moment in the spotlight for Auntie Simone turned into something sweeter—Ronni stole the show, one pose on the mat in the gym at a time.

But while Baby Biles is warming up, where is Aunt Simone? After August 2024, the most decorated gymnast has yet to show up on the mat. And the calendar shows that the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships is around the corner. So, what are the chances of her entering the contest after 2023?

What’s your perspective on:

Is Baby Biles the real star of the Olympics, or does Simone still hold the crown?

Simone Biles still keeps it in the dark

With the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships drawing near, fans are asking the big question: Will Simone Biles compete again? If you’re hoping for a definitive yes, don’t hold your breath. In a candid recent interview with L’Équipe, Biles pulled back the curtain on her current mindset — and let’s just say, it’s less about medals and more about meaning. “I’m trying to enjoy life, travel, spend time with my husband, and really live as a woman,” Simone Biles shared her words, carrying the weight of someone who has already conquered the sport — and is now figuring out what joy looks like outside of it. And what about a comeback? She didn’t slam the door shut, but she’s not rushing through it either.

So, it’s a shift that feels both earned and empowering. After years of being defined by perfect landings, sky-high expectations, and global pressure, Simone is now embracing a chapter where success isn’t measured in scores — but in sunsets, slow mornings, and moments with her husband, Jonathan Owens. That doesn’t mean fans should stop dreaming — with Simone, surprises come standard. But for now, it’s clear: this season is about Simone the woman, not just Simone the gymnast. And whatever comes next, she’s already sticking the landing in life.
