Is Jordan Chiles Joining Dancing With the Stars Season 34?

To start with, there have been hints. When speaking with USA TODAY Sports, Jordan Chiles was asked if she considered herself a good dancer. She responded, “I mean, a lot of people say I have really good dance moves. I mean, I like dancing, like you know, being involved in like that area.” She then added, “I told myself, you know, if I wasn’t an athlete, I would definitely be in the dance music area of things.” And then a TikTok announcement revealed the cast pairings for the upcoming season.

The final entry on the list was none other than Jordan Chiles alongside celebrated choreographer Mark Ballas. Though nothing has been official. The Cosmopolitan, in its report titled “‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34 Premieres Soon—Here’s Everything We Know So Far,listed Jordan Chiles under the Rumored DWTS season 34 cast.  The Sun also reported that, “Chatter has circulated that Olympian Jordan Chiles is also competing after skipping out on last year’s show.

But what is to be kept in mind is that no official announcement has been made yet. We don’t have public confirmation from the Olympian on this topic, nor from the officials at Dancing with the Stars.

When Will DWTS Season 34 Cast Be Officially Revealed?

Season 34 has already revealed a few of its stars, such as conservationist Robert Irwin, influencer Alix Earle, and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives personalities Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt. The full list of celebrity contestants, along with their professional dance partners, will be unveiled on September 3 during a live broadcast of Good Morning America.

Which Olympic Gymnasts Have Competed on Dancing With the Stars?

  • Shawn Johnson: Johnson particularly received the competition in Season 8 after being weighed against Mark Ballas, and finishing the program just short of 1% ahead of her closest competitor. In Season 15’s All Stars, she came back along with Derek Hough and ended up being the runner-up.
  • Mary Lou Retton: Retton partnered with Sasha Farber in Season 27 and got eliminated in Week 6 in 9th place.
  • Aly Raisman: Raisman and Mark Ballas reached as far as the finals during Season 16 but ended up in fourth place.
  • Nastia Liukin: Liukin was partnered with Derek Hough in Season 20, delivered strong performances and finished in fourth place at the end of the season.

  • Stephen Nedoroscik: Nedoroscik partnered up with Rylee Arnold at the start of Season 33, and together they made it to the finale where they took home fourth place.

If the rumors are true, then Jordan Chiles, coming in season 34, could be a great addition to the legacy of gymnastics carry in Dancing with the Stars.
