Drama ensued at the Dancing With The Stars when Jordan Chiles allegedly walked away from the stage. It happened while the officials were getting their scores, and the announcement for the pros took place in the meantime. With that, the fans began lashing out at the Olympic gymnast. According to many, it was a disrespectful move. But that’s a bit too far away from the truth. Chiles had to personally address the situation and reveal the reality of her relationship with Ezra Sosa and her stance in the dancing show.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Chiles stated, “I think it’s crazy how people can make a situation so big and out of proportion when all I was doing was following the rules.” She went on to address two scenarios that seemingly bothered her the other night. She revealed her side of the story. First, she addressed the reality of the scene where she walked away as the officials secured their scores. She wrote, “When they announced the tour for the pros I was told by production that I needed to move because I couldn’t be in the shot so that is why I may have looked like that because it was a fast move.”
Many fans speculated that Jordan Chiles showed a bad attitude while walking away, likely because her relationship with her partner was in turbulent waters. But it was definitely not the case. She stated, “When me and Ezra got saved idk why you guys think me laughing and saying put me down was rude and that all of a sudden I am a mean girl. Me and [Ezra Sosa] relationship is perfectly fine. We laugh, joke and I’m pretty sure you can tell our connection is pretty good through our social media.” Well, the duo scored 24/30 and were safe in the fourth week. Right now, they share the second rank with Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovsky, as well as Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten.

Needless to say, Chiles’ life is already pretty hectic with the DWTS and gymnastics training taking up most of her time. Seeing things about herself on social media that she knows are false simply doesn’t sit right with her. She continued, “I don’t want this to be a thing where you guys don’t vote and all this stuff because of things you guys make up in your heads. I came on this show to have fun and enjoy a new chapter of my life.” But in the end, the Olympian thanked everyone who stood in her support.

Following this, the DWTS also supported Chiles by awarding her with a moniker.

Dancing With The Stars gave Jordan Chiles a cheeky nickname
To commemorate the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort, DWTS had the contestants dance to Disney themes. And Jordan Chiles danced to ‘Special Spice’ and incorporated Quickstep into her choreography. As expected, the dance mesmerized the judges. Their scores left Sosa and Chiles safe for the fifth week. But on Instagram, DWTS shared a post featuring Chiles and captioned it, “Our Princess 💚.”

Now, Chiles and her partner are getting ready for the next big showdown in the fifth week. When she was asked about it on Extra TV, she smiled and claimed, “I literally can just say one word. Passion. Passionate.” Chiles continued, “I feel like, you know, that’s something that really amplifies who I am and the person that I’m bringing on with me.” But she took control of the reins and prevented herself from giving out any more spoilers about next week’s performance.
Well, we already saw her giving a ‘Princess and the Frog’ reference through a TikTok video. And later, she aced the performance with a song from ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’. But we can certainly expect her to dominate in the coming week, leaving fans with no choice but to cheer for her yet again.
