When Jordan Chiles entered Dancing With The Stars, many expected her to be one of the top performers. Her routines are top-notch, and as judge Bruno Tonioli said during the recent birthday episode of DWTS, she indeed heats up the room. With rehearsals, gymnastics training, and shoot days for the show, Chiles may have underestimated how packed her schedule was going to be. How does she juggle it all? Let’s hear it from her.

Recently, the Olympian shared a photo on her Instagram Story, juggling two phones at once. On one, she was reviewing performances, and on the other, she was attending a class meeting. From that single snapshot, it was clear just how packed the UCLA standout’s schedule truly is. Captioning the photo, she wrote, “A perfect picture of my life right now. Just got home from gymnastics practice, reviewing our dance films while listening to a discussion for class, then off to our 6-hour dance rehearsals.” Quite a packed schedule she got there!
So, how is she balancing it all? Honestly, even she doesn’t quite know. As she put it, “People always ask me, How do I do it all? I have no idea. I just love what I’m doing so much, having the best time.” There’s no denying that Chiles is walking a tightrope right now. But is she finding it tough to manage? It sure doesn’t look like it. The gymnast is also preparing for the upcoming 2026 NCAA gymnastics season, which will begin next January.

What about her Dancing With the Stars schedule? Well, the finale will take place on November 25, and as of now, the gymnast and her partner, Ezra Sosa, are ranked fifth with a total score of 37. Balancing everything at once is no small feat, and in her push to be the best, the UCLA administration has backed her every step of the way. In a conversation with UCLA, the gymnast revealed that she asked the administration for some classes online, and they simply agreed to what she had to say.

This quarter, I told my coaches and my academic counselor, ‘Hey, can we make sure everything is online? Because that’s going to be the easiest for me.” And so, I have all of my stuff online,” said the Olympic gold medalist.“I’ve just been trying to make sure I do as much homework as possible, especially if they’re asynchronous, and I can just kind of go at my own pace. But (balancing it all has) been really fun. It’s my senior year, so I’m trying to enjoy the best of it and just really finish everything out as strongly as possible.”
Inspiration, that’s the only word that comes to mind when talking about Jordan Chiles. Achieving so much at such a young age isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but Jordan Chiles is simply built differently. And guess what? She has always been that way. In her conversation with Keke Palmer, she explains her “why.”

“I continue to fight,” Jordan Chiles said on becoming what she is today
It is safe to say that Chiles’ road to stardom has been somewhat bumpy. After successfully contesting her original fifth-place score in Paris, Jordan was moved up to third place, edging out her opponent Ana Bărbosu to clinch the bronze medal. However, her victory soon turned sour when, just 10 days later, the decision was overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. She certainly took the case to the Tribunal court, but the verdict is yet to be given; her story has been nothing but an inspiration, and she knows it.
While having a conversation with Keke Palmer, the gymnast explained, “I continue to fight for what I do every single day, because I understand my why. My why is always understanding that I didn’t wake up to sprint for the younger generation for no reason. I didn’t wake up to talk about what I’m going through for no reason. I didn’t write a book for them to read for no reason… God didn’t create me just to walk on the earth. He didn’t create me just for me to be in my bed and be all pretty. No, that’s not how it works.”
