The next few months are going to be busy for Jonathan Owens, what with the NFL preseason having kicked off. The Miami Dolphins came to face his team, the Chicago Bears, on August 10th — and the showdown ended in a 24-24 tie. Owens may not have been part of the team, but he stole the spotlight after sharing a romantic moment with his wife Simone Biles before the game began. Biles had donned a custom Ownes top to show support.

However, Biles was absent from the scene when they triumphed over the Buffalo Bills on August 17th in a 38-0 scoreline. Owens had recorded 3 tackles and added a quarterback hit. While he is busy with his NFL season, the gymnast is on a trip with someone else. Who’s that, and where is Biles going?

With a picture of her passport and one other person, Simone Biles uploaded a story today, writing, “Where are we going??!!“. Though the gymnast is yet to confirm where she is flying to, it is clear that she has flown out of the United States. Her latest story also only shows a beautiful landscape from the plane, where she can be seen flying above the mountains. She wrote, “USA → ?????“. But between these two stories was another one where he had a request.

Biles’ second story about the trip was from inside the plane, where she could be seen holding a glass full of a clear liquid, most probably water. But around the rim of it, she had written, “send help“. What could it be? Sure, it wasn’t something that big of a deal, given she uploaded a story after that. Also, the special someone she is on board with the fight with is none other than her sister.

Adria Biles reposted a picture from Simone’s story on her’s where the two posed in front of a mirror. Biles had originally captioned the image, “Twin Travels🤎”. The two had donned outfits that were quite similar in style. The gymnast went for an all-black set with a crop top and wide-leg pants, while Adria chose a blue jumpsuit with the same kind of dark cardigan and casual sneakers.

She wrote, “outfits and hair not planned 🤣 if we go ✈️“. Both of them had their hair worn down, straight, and sleek, with a middle part. While she takes the tour with her sister, Simone Biles will also have to endure the pain of going into a long distance with Owens once again.

The NFL season is already going to take a lot of Owens away from Biles for the time being, but that has been a problem they have worked out since the start of their relationship. They have had their honeymoon this year and the trip to Belize as well, but the gymnast still had to do some trips without him. Recently, Biles was on a trip, 7,794 miles from Chicago all the way to Hong Kong without her biggest supporter by her side.

She was in the city to speak at the UBS’ 28th Asian Investment Conference (AIC), held from May 27–30, 2025, where she joined Amy Lo, UBS Global Wealth Management Asia Chair, for a lively fireside chat. During her visit, she also motivated more than 600 young athletes and fans at local gymnastics clubs and attended a UBS-sponsored Cirque du Soleil KOOZA performance. Now, she might be away from Owens for the time being. Where is she off to, though? Any guesses?
