Just months ago, the gymnastics world was stunned once again, as Morgan Price officially rejoined the Arkansas Razorbacks, completing a remarkable full-circle moment in her trailblazing journey. After parting ways with Fisk University earlier this year, the star gymnast knew exactly where her next leap should land. From igniting Fisk’s historic rise to now returning to the Razorback arena, Price continues to command the spotlight with every move. Watching her latest routine, Arkansas head coach Jordyn Wieber couldn’t help but celebrate the return of one of the program’s most gifted athletes.

Well, for three consecutive seasons, Price wasn’t just part of Fisk gymnastics; she was its pulse, turning a once-dreamed idea into a national headline. Her impact stretched far beyond the medals and the scores; she became the symbol of representation. After leaving Fisk, in a conversation with the media, he stated, “I know that a lot of little gymnasts, whether they’re a minority or not, look up to us because they see a whole team full of Black and brown gymnasts doing the sport that they love. It shows that you can also do college gymnastics as well, as long as you keep working hard and putting your mind to it.”

Stepping into the new path, with one final year of NCAA eligibility, Price entered the transfer portal, a move that signaled evolution. Back on May 6th, she took to Instagram to share the news about rejoining the new gym, “Forever grateful for Fisk and incredibly proud of all we’ve accomplished together at @fiskugymnastics. This isn’t goodbye—it’s simply ‘see you again soon.’💙”

Since rejoining and linking up with her older sister, Frankie Price (also an Arkansas gymnast), Morgan Price has picked up right where she left off, showcasing her refined skills in the gym. Her latest performance stands as a true testament to her growth, and it wasn’t Wieber this time who celebrated her success.

The six-time national champion has come a long way since she made headlines in 2022 for turning down a Power Five offer to join Fisk University’s inaugural HBCU gymnastics team. Back in February this year, the gymnast recorded a perfect 10.0 on the uneven bars, the first ever perfect 10 from an HBCU gymnast.

Now, after rejoining the Arkansas Razorbacks, Price is proving that her leap of faith has only sharpened her skill and spirit. “Don’t play with herrrrrr,” cheered Jordynn Cromartie. These aren’t just compliments, they’re acknowledgments of growth. From her powerful giant swings to her newfound rhythm, Price’s maturity as an athlete is evident. And as Sierra Ballard summed it up with “HOLY MOLY,” it’s clear Morgan Price has reached a new artistic peak, with many predicting that the vault would give Arkansas its first ever perfect 10 this season.

Her training is a testament to perseverance, evolution, and confidence. What began as a historic choice to uplift diversity in gymnastics has now come full circle, with Morgan Price inspiring a new generation to believe that greatness can come from courage and conviction alike.
