A few months ago, Jordan Chiles’ teammate Leanne Wong saw her NCAA gymnastics career come shockingly close to the finish line. The Florida Gators were fan favorites to win the season, yet they spent most of it stuck at No. 5. Wong herself stayed in the top 10, but for the 21-year-old, it was still a major blow. However, setbacks only seemed to fuel her fire. She roared back at the Xfinity Championships, clinching silver in the all-around. Her fall and rise are impressive, but perhaps even more remarkable is the fact that she’s achieved it all without even keeping a calendar.
Yes, you heard that right. She doesn’t even use a calendar to manage everything she does, and trust me, she does a lot. Apart from her impressive gymnastics career, the 21-year-old is an outstanding student. And on top of that, she runs multiple small businesses. As per one of the sport’s close onlookers, “Leanne works like 3 jobs, goes to college, volunteers, and dabbles in elite gymnastics on the weekends.”
Leanne Wong is a full-time student at the University of Florida, completing her pre-med studies. She also started her handmade bow brand, Bowtique, which has blossomed into a successful NIL venture. In addition, she works with The Leanne Wong Foundation, a non-profit organization. And last but not least, she has her own coffee venture named Sip-Sop.

Talking to the media, Wong admitted that she feels she has four jobs to take care of, “That has really kept me busy. I always feel like I have like four different jobs, so like school, gymnastics, my bow business, and then all the NIL deals and everything.”

During a conversation with the media, Jordan Chiles’ teammate explained that since she had always designed her own bows, she got the idea of making them for others as well. “I’ve always designed them myself and then sent them to whatever company I’m using, but now I’m going to use my own company. I didn’t really have time to create a new one for Classics, so I’m just wearing one that I’ve had for a while. It’s one of the first ones that I designed and created.”

The Florida Gator standout claimed the vault title and secured second place in the all-around. Leanne Wong’s consistency was proven again across the board, with a third-place finish on uneven bars and a fifth-place ranking on both balance beam and floor exercise. She made her routine a must-watch one.
This was Wong’s second national title, following her 2022 victory on the uneven bars. She is now the 11th gymnast to earn seven or more U.S. Senior National Team berths. With her second standing at the Xfinity championships, she is in the prime position to make a run for the 2025 World Championships roster, set for October 19–25 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
