Simone Biles’ life has been a showcase of milestones in recent months, from competition victories to personal celebrations. Yet her latest highlight is far from the gymnastics floor. The Olympic champion has been unveiling glimpses of the Texas mansion she and Jonathan Owens have been building for nearly two years, and those updates suggest the long wait is finally nearing its conclusion. Her social media posts have turned into a detailed record of the project, and this week she disclosed that even as the house approaches completion, some adjustments are still underway.

The 27-year-old gymnast has steadily kept followers informed about the construction since returning from the 2024 Olympics. In mid-August, she published a sequence of images on Instagram stories that documented several finished and nearly finished rooms. The kitchen, in particular, stood out, with a waterfall-style island made of striking black-and-white veined stone, a matching backsplash, and gold fixtures that reflected the coffered ceiling above. Another room appeared to be designed as a home gym, its mirrored walls and unfinished flooring suggesting a space tailored to her training needs. She also revealed her dressing room, nearly completed with white cabinetry, glass shelving, and a central island adorned with gold handles.
The most recent development, however, came today when Biles revealed she had decided to modify some of the interiors. Sharing photographs of a particular area of the house, she wrote, “making some minor aesthetic adjustments.” In a follow-up, she revealed, “& by minor I meannnnn…” making it clear that the revisions were more substantial than her first description implied. The photographs indicated that the cabinetry in the space was being replaced, suggesting that even as the property reaches its finishing stages, she remains intent on refining the design.

This decision follows a string of earlier updates that offered a more personal look at the house.
On January 26, she posted a mirror selfie with Owens leaning over to kiss her on the head, the background providing a glimpse of their kitchen’s wooden cabinets and golden faucets. While the photograph captured a candid domestic moment, it also underscored how much attention the couple has devoted to the property’s details. Their Houston-area residence, valued at approximately $3 million, has been under construction since September 2023. Biles previously remarked to US Weekly in November 2024 that “at this point, we’ve waited so long for it to be built; we’ll just wait until after the [NFL] season to move in.”

With the NFL season now concluded and Biles’ competition schedule behind her, the couple appears closer than ever to beginning life inside their new home. The latest adjustments reveal that the gymnast’s pursuit of excellence extends beyond her sport. As the finishing touches are made, the Texas mansion is evolving not only into a residence but also into a reflection of her exacting standards and personal style. But even just days before, Biles was busy somewhere else…

Simone Biles’ courtside presence sparked Coco Gauff’s stirring US Open comeback
Coco Gauff’s turbulent evening at the US Open took an unexpected turn when Simone Biles appeared in her corner of Arthur Ashe Stadium. The defending champion had begun with a flurry of errors and visible frustration, yet the calm presence of the seven-time Olympic gold medalist shifted the tenor of the match. Gauff later acknowledged the difference with striking candor.
“Honestly, I saw her, and I don’t know if she’s up there, but she helped me pull it out.” Her reference to Biles’s ability to master a balance beam under extraordinary scrutiny made clear that the gymnast’s reputation for composure had become a guiding influence.

The connection deepened after Gauff’s recovery carried her through in straight sets. Beneath the stadium, she approached Biles with genuine gratitude, telling her, “You’re such an inspiration. Like, seriously, what I said in the interview, I was thinking about that literally.” Biles responded with warmth, admitting she had struggled to restrain herself from cheering during play but assuring Gauff that her admiration was unreserved. That conversation revealed not only the admiration of a tennis player for a gymnast but also the recognition of one pioneer affirming another.
Biles later shared her reflections publicly.

“so proud of you @cocogauff 💗 Wear the crown that wears you.” She expanded on those thoughts in an interview, describing Gauff as “incredible, amazing,” and highlighting “her grace and humility.” Though Gauff did not hear the remarks in real time, the message reinforced the theme of the evening. A sheer display of mutual respect between two of the most visible women in sport.
What began as a fraught match evolved into a portrait of shared resilience, with Biles’s support framing Gauff’s eventual triumph as more than a routine victory.
